*He wants us to return as grateful children.

Why give thanks?

Heb. 13:15, I Thess. 5:18

*It is the will of God for us to give thanks

*When we give thanks, it multiplies- (Matt. 15:36)

*No matter how small the amount your husband gives you for food money, stop complaining raise that money up to God and thank Him for it so that it can multiply.

*Learn to thank God no matter how small.

*There is at least one thing to thank God for in your home.

*Some people’s hospital bill is more than their house rent, just because they want to keep their family in good health.

How many accidents this year? How many amputated arm this year?

*Write out ten things to thank God for in the life of your husband.

*Can you imagine someone born with eyes but can no longer see? But yet, this person still sees a reason to thank God. What about you?

Praise the lord, o my soul,
And forget not His benefits,

*Do you see a privilege to be alive?

*When we learn to give thanks, it brings perfection- Lk. 17:15-19

*Whatever needs to be perfected in your marriage, home and in the life of your husband, let your thanksgiving to God perfect it all.

*You can be healed and might not be made whole, but when you give thanks your healing will be made whole

John 11:42
*Thanksgiving brings restoration.

*Whatever it is, give thanks always

*Give thanks to God for His mercy which endures forever because of Jesus.

*God’s mercy is his expression of His Love towards us.

*God’s mercy is His love and compassion that never fails.

*God’s mercy makes a way and allows us to enjoy favor.

Eph. 5:20, Eph. 2:1-3

Hindrances to Giving Thanks.
